Thank you for your interest in a career at Golden Tree Academy. We aim to provide a well-rounded education for our students in a small, family-like environment. Golden Tree Academy is intentionally designed to be a small school and all staff will have an opportunity to get to know all students. As a new school, all employees will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and culture of the school and lay the foundation of the program for years to come.

Required qualifications

  • A passion for working with elementary and middle school aged children, especially non-traditional learners
  • An ability to wear multiple hats in a small school environment
  • Ability to work with others, even when you may disagree with them
  • CPR and First Aid certification or ability to be certified (at school's expense)
  • Pass criminal background investigation through state, DOJ, and FBI
  • Be alcohol and smoke-free while on campus and at all off-site school activities
  • Appropriate training, certification, and/or experience for position
  • Ability to relocate, since location has not been finalized. New England is the most likely area.

Positions Available

As a small school our, all staff wear many hats. Staff have a primarily responsibility, such as teaching, residential, or admissions staff, but also help in the general day-to-day administration and maintenance that a small school requires. We are currently accepting inquiries for all positions and especially for admissions and marketing.

Application Process

  • Understand that the school is not open yet and is not able to hire you for a full-time position at the moment, with the possible exception of marketing and admissions staff. We are looking for an exceptional team of staff that can be ready to start work in a year or two. During the meantime, you will be encouraged to provide thoughts and opinions about the development of the school and curriculum.

Please indicate what type of position or positions you are applying for and any additional skills which may be beneficial for the development of a small school. Should you be selected for potential hire, three or more references, a copy of school transcripts, a copy of your college degree, and a criminal background check will be required.
